MIXED CHOIR "KLAIPĖDA" |

Miglė Mosėnienė is the director of the choir.
This choir performs works of various composers, extracts from popular operas and operettas, songs about sea. While compiling the programmes of the choire a lot of attention is devoted to the music of the Lithuania Minor.
The choir 'Klaipėda' regularly participates in town and state song festivals, music and poetry evenings. In 2003 it celebrated its' 50th anniversary. People of different ages and proffessions sing in the choire.
The repertoire of the choire includes songs and hymns of composers of the Lithuania Minor, patriotic songs, intended especially for major holidays, also religious works of Lithuanian and foreign composers. It also includes a wide and varied programme of marine songs for choir and solo singers, extracts from operas and operettas.
